A Less-Than-Triumphant Return

To mark my long-awaited return to blogging, I am posting this....blog.

My intent is to

1. Write mostly for my own amusement. If you are amused, super. If you are not; provide suggestions.
2. Write about my life in a humorous manner with little to no regard for factual consistency. This means I reserve the right to exaggerate, misconstrue, hyperbolize, make up, dissimulate, and outright lie. All in the name of being silly. If I write about you and blow something out of proportion, consider it a caricature.
3. Write about Linux and computers in general. I am learning, so if I make n00b observations, suck it up. I am also trying to make my own Ubuntu derivative because of my profound dislike of their new desktop environment, Unity. Instead of joining the whining hordes, I'm just going to build the version I want to use. Isn't that the Linux way?
